Most of Brittney’s family (her parents, all four siblings, and one brother-in-law) came from around the world to NYC for Thanksgiving week. Activities included taking Max to a Holiday Fair and the Metropolitan Art museum, seeing Broadway shows (without the baby), eating great food, and, of course, lots of snuggling and playing with the newest member of the family. |

He continues to grow, as you can see from these photos, taken a week apart: |
If you want more, we uploaded a gazillon photos from the week. |
Music Man
We took Max to his first Mommy & Me music class on Monday. He was a little overwhelmed by all the older kids and noise and fell asleep halfway through, but he seemed to enjoy it while he was awake. We might sign up for one in January when he’s a little more ready (and we won’t sign up for one during his usual nap time — he had gotten a somewhat regular schedule now that, to the relief of his tired parents, includes over eight hours of sleep at night!). |
It’s getting cold here, so we have to keep Max bundled up in snuggly bear outfits. |
We uploaded a few more photos from last week. We are about a week behind with out blog posts, so photos of Max’s Thanksgiving with Brittney’s family will be coming soon. |
Dancing Man
Brittney did her first post-Max choreography project last weekend, and around the day of the performance she realized she should have hired Max to be the dancer – he’s getting very active, doing lots of kicking and swimming his arms around. However, as you can see from these videos, even with Bubbe’s enthusiastic encouragement, he only dances when he wants to.

Smiles…
Max had his two-month doctor appointment on Wednesday, and he is now 9 lbs 3 oz and 22 inches long. He went down to 5 percentile in weight but shot up to 48 percentile in height. |
Mark’s mom and stepdad (aka Bubbe and Poppy) visited us last weekend, giving Max lots of reasons to practice his newly-arrived smiles. Bubbe took lots of cute pictures (and was on camera herself…last week Max moved out of our room to his nursery, where, via monitor, we can keep on eye on him and eavesdrop on unknowing Bubbes having silly conversations about giant poopies with their grandson) |

Halloween
For Halloween, we had to do something with Max’s abundant hair, so we made him a punk rocker. Rain put a damper on the trick-or-treating, but we had fun dressing him up. |

Max has been taking lots of walks/strolls in Central Park while the weather allows. On the way home visiting Mark at work one day we had a photo shoot. As you can see, he is getting more wide-eyed and curious about the world each day.Of course, we took lots more photos you can view here. |
