Happy Birthday Mommy!

Max (with the help of his Dad and Aunt Ashly) made Brittney some chocolate chip pancakes for her birthday.
Max loves pancakes! We can’t wait for Nonna, the best breakfast-maker ever, to cook us some during her visit this weekend.
We had fun playing a duet on a present from Nonna and Poppa. Max loves the keyboard and Brittney is looking forward to teaching him how to play someday.
The night before, Mark and Brittney had a nice night out at a yummy tapas place downtown. Max was a little too into playing with his taxis and buses to pose for a family photo, but we got one of our family of three (soon to be four).
One more note on our musical/cooking genius – we made it through the Manhattan preschool application craziness (too many city babies and not enough schools). We are thrilled that starting in September Max will be attending Metropolitan Montessori School, a small, cozy, warm and wonderful school on 85th Street. He will be in a mixed-age classroom of three to six year olds five mornings a week. Brittney will miss her mornings with him, but we are excited to watch him learn and grow in this supportive, stimulating environment.
