Julie’s First Flight

In early August, Julie took her first plane flight to Utah to see Brittney’s siblings and their kids who had gathered from around the world. Like her brother, she was a great traveler, much calmer than her mom. She just ate and slept in the carrier and enjoyed looking around.
Max was excited to be reunited with Edie. Ashly brought two leashes so the cousins could walk her together.

Julie loved riding in Maya’s car seat.
Breanne was a great helper, rocking Julie and being very gentle.
Sophie joined in when she wasn’t too busy coloring.
Whenever Julie was fussy, Breanne would say “I think she wants necklaces.” She and her sisters dressed Julie up and made her smily (and so stylish).
All six cousins (and there are three more on the way…)
Uncle Eric came all the way from Colombia to take Max to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point.
The men (many of the ladies were home with a flu bug).
Another night, another photo shoot with the talented twin stylists.
Max picked out the shoes.
Other fun activities included birthday celebrations, seeing some of Brittney’s many cousins, playing with trains, doll houses, and all the other toys, dancing with balloons, crashing Maya’s gymnastics class, splashing in fountains at the park, and posing for one of Aunt Courtney’s elaborate photo projects.
Plus working on spelling on Nonna’s iPad with Sidon,
Post-bathtime snuggling. Max loved having so many people around to play with. Every morning he woke up calling someone’s name – Papa, Nonna, Sidon, Uncle Eric, Edie…
Somehow we got all the grandkids to sit still (sort of) for a photo shoot. Unfortunately it was the day Max caught the flu bug, but he is a trooper, especially when Papa is around.

Julie and Max love Papa and Nonna so much, and we appreciated them hosting us in their new Utah home and taking good care of us during our visit.
