Max’s First Week at Home

Max had many firsts during his first week home:

First Birthday Party (1 Week) — First birthday party (1 week)

First cab ride (to Buy Buy Baby -- he slept through the talkative nutjob driver and the midtown traffic)

First non-family visitors

First Michigan football game with daddy (they won, but the game was close enough that Max learned some new words)

Brittney's mom Janet (i.e Nonna), who is helping us out this week, cooking and snuggling lots with her first grandson

First bath in bathtub (after which he had an encore performance since he threw up right after getting all clean and dry)

Other firsts include:

– first getting his fingernails cut

– first peeing on daddy

– first spitting up on mommy as we were about to leave the house

and many more…

As of last Friday Max was back up to his birth weight of 6 lbs 3 oz. We can’t believe how much he has changed in just 12 days and we’re looking forward to watching him grow.
